ISDA Social Media Policy
The Indiana State Department of Agriculture values open communication and engagement with our online communities. We encourage respectful dialogue and the sharing of information relevant to Indiana agriculture. We believe that community interaction is vital for fostering a collaborative environment that supports Indiana agriculture.
The Indiana State Department of Agriculture reserves the right to review any online activity on its pages and the right to remove any content that is deemed inappropriate, offensive or violates any of our guidelines below. These conditions apply to all of the Indiana State Department of Agriculture’s (ISDA) social medias and any pages underneath the ISDA including but not limited to Indiana Grown, Indiana Produce Safety, etc.
Comments may be removed if they contain:
- Hate speech or hateful content;
- Violent or graphic content;
- Profanity, obscenity, or vulgarity;
- Nudity, including nudity in profile pictures, or sexual content;
- Defamatory statements;
- Threats, name-calling, or personal attacks of any kind to any person, including ISDA employees;
- Content that promotes, fosters, or perpetuates discrimination;
- Content that is not topically related to the particular posting being commented upon or spam comments, such as the same comment posted repeatedly on a profile, or links to non topically related websites;
- Information that may compromise the safety, security, or proceedings of public systems or any criminal or civil investigations;
- Harmful or dangerous content;
- Personally identifiable/sensitive personal information or impersonations; and
- Content that violates federal or state law, or any ISDA policy.
