The Metrology Laboratory calibrates and/or tolerance tests standards of mass, length, time, and volume. All measurement results are NIST traceable. NIST Certificate of Measurement Traceability.
The Indiana General Assembly adopted legislation (IC 16-19-5-1) in 1999 allowing the Metrology Laboratory to collect fees for services. The fee schedule as adopted (410 IAC 12-2-1) follows. Please note that public schools and state and local government agencies are exempt.
