FUNDED INTERVENTIONS:

OUTREACH TESTING:  Outreach Testing funding calls for an individual level intervention which will ensure that that persons at increased risk for HIV and HCV are properly screened and tested. Furthermore, those found to be infected shall be immediately linked into the existing system of care.

HARM REDUCTION:  This funding calls for implementing harm reduction strategies which will target individuals engaging in high risk behaviors including, but not limited to unsafe sex practices and injection drug use. Program participants will have access to items and education to help them reduce the risk of harm to themselves or others as a result of their behaviors.

SYRINGE SERVICES PROGRAM:  This funding is provided to support Syringe Services Programming (SSP) within Clark County.

PrEP/ART:  Grantee will work to establish, enhance, and provide PrEP services in their area.

SPECIAL POPULATIOMS SUPPORT PROGRAM (SPSP):   The program is designed to cover two complementary services: disease prevention and supportive care. The Special Populations Support Program strives to minimize the negative impact of chemical dependency on the health of persons at risk of HIV, or those already living with HIV, in a compassionate and non-judgmental environment, cost-free to the client.

OUTREACH SERVICES:  Outreach services will be provided in Scott County, IN and will target individuals at highest risk for acquisition or transmission of disease.  A primary focus shall be on drug users with particular emphasis on injection drug users.

FUNDED INTERVENTION:

Routine ER Testing:  This funding calls for an individual level intervention which will ensure that HIV infected persons and persons at increased risk for HIV have access to HIV testing within routine healthcare to promote early knowledge of their HIV status.

Routine ER Testing will be provided in the Emergency Room of Scott County Memorial Hospital.
