CLEAR: CLEAR is intensive, individualized, client-centered counseling for adopting and maintaining HIV risk-reduction behaviors for HIV positive individuals who continue high-risk behaviors, discordant couples, and HIV negative individuals that engage in high-risk behaviors.
OUTREACH TESTING: Outreach Testing funding calls for an individual level intervention which will ensure that that persons at increased risk for HIV and HCV are properly screened and tested. Furthermore, those found to be infected shall be immediately linked into the existing system of care.
HARM REDUCTION: This funding calls for implementing harm reduction strategies which will target individuals engaging in high risk behaviors including, but not limited to unsafe sex practices and injection drug use. Program participants will have access to items and education to help them reduce the risk of harm to themselves or others as a result of their behaviors.
SPECIAL POPULATIONS SUPPORT PROGRAM (SPSP): The program is designed to cover two complementary services: disease prevention and supportive care. The Special Populations Support Program strives to minimize the negative impact of chemical dependency on the health of persons at risk of HIV, or those already living with HIV, in a compassionate and non-judgmental environment, cost-free to the client.
