Welcome to the Indiana State Department of Health (ISDH) Healthcare Associated Infection Resource Center. The page also provides information about state quality improvement initiatives related to healthcare associated infections.
The Indiana State Department of Health is leading an initiative directed at preventing healthcare associated infection. This initiative began in September 2009 and continues through December 2011. The Initiative is a state collaborative effort to prevent healthcare associated infections. The Initiative includes development of a state plan for preventing healthcare associated infections, development of a monitoring system, and implementation of a prevention program. The Indiana Healthcare Associated Infection Initiative is focusing on six healthcare associated infections:
