Indiana State Department of Health

Office of Minority Health > Programs & Events > What You Don't Know CAN KILL You What You Don't Know CAN KILL You

What is the Conference About?

Our goal is to empower and educate community, education, business and governmental leaders who primarily serve in minority target populations across the State to provide information on minority health issues that are rapidly growing, but are not addressed in day to day mainstream sources. What You Don't Know, Can Kill You!

Who Can Come?

All are welcomed who have a vested interest in minority health and want to eliminate health disparities.

Conference will take place September 15, 2014 at the University of Indianapolis. The Youth Track will be from 10:00 am until 2:30 pm and the Adult Track will be held 9:00 am to 4:00 pm. Topics of the event will include nutrition and healthy living, tobacco and substance abuse, infant mortality, and mental health. Please contact OMH for registration information and any other questions.
