Indiana is fortunate to have several resources available for dental treatments, ranging from private dentists to community dental clinics helping low income families. Listed below are a few organizations and programs to help you locate treatment options.
• MCH-MOMS Helpline (formerly Indiana Family Helpline)
Indiana State Department of Health (ISDH)
Clinics - The Oral Health Program and the MCH-MOMS Helpline maintain a list of clinics that may provide low-cost dental care to eligible individuals. These clinics operate in various counties in Indiana. Please call the MCH-MOMS Helpline for a list of dental or medical clinics near you. The IDA maintains a list of its member dentists.

• Indiana Office of Medicaid Policy and Planning (OMPP)
Indiana residents that qualify for Medicaid and are enrolled may have access to dental care through Medicaid Providers
• Hoosier Healthwise (HHW)
This is an Indiana healthcare program for children, pregnant women, and families with low income. Children up to age 19 may be eligible for coverage. HHW covers medical care like doctor visits, prescription medicine, mental health care, dental care, hospitalizations, surgeries, and family planning at little or no cost to the member or the member’s family.
• Indiana Dental Association (IDA)
The IDA maintains a list of its member dentists.

The IUSD, located in Indianapolis, has various dental clinics and provides dental care that in general costs less than dental care provided in private practice.
