The Indiana State Police offers training programs that teach school administrators how to respond to an active shooter incident. The program design goes beyond the previous standard practice of what has become known as "lockdown."
School administrators may check availability to have a Safe School/Active Shooter presentation by contacting the Public Information Officer at the local Indiana State Police District on our "Schedule a Presentation" page. Just click on your county and fill out the form that is presented.
To find your local ISP Public Information Officer visit our "District PIO Map" page and click on your county.
