Comment on a Case

To comment on a case, please send written remarks to the Indiana Office of Utility Consumer Counselor (OUCC), which is the state agency representing the public in all cases before the Commission. To file comments and to learn more about the process, please click here.

Attend a Field Hearing

Field hearings are an opportunity for the public to speak directly to the Commission. These hearings are held in a utility's largest service territory and are documented for the record by a court reporter. To view a list of upcoming field hearings, please click here.

Access Case-Related Information

The IURC uses an electronic document system (EDS) to process and manage public information filed in docketed cases. The EDS’s searchable database contains all case documents from the year 2001 to the present. To access the EDS, please click here.

To search for a case of interest, simply click on “search cases,” which is on the left-hand side of the EDS homepage. You may then find the case by entering its five-digit docket number and clicking “search.” If you do not know the docket number, you may find the case by entering the industry, petition date, petition type, party or order date, and clicking “search.”

To view case summaries or updates, visit the OUCC's website. It provides basic information about pending cases and an overview of filed testimony.
