IURC APPROVES SETTLEMENT AGREEMENT ON RATES

 

Today the Indiana Utility Regulatory Commission approved a request by Oak Park Conservancy District to increase its rates and charges for water service, but at a rate much less than the 15% the company originally sought.

 

In cause 41811-U, the 4.03% across the board rate increase is the result of an agreement between the Oak Park Conservancy District and the Indiana Office of the Utility Consumer Counselor.

The increase will produce additional annual operating revenues of $4,975.

The Oak Park Conservancy District is a municipal water utility providing service to 432 customers in Jeffersonville, Indiana.  This is the first rate increase since April 1992.
