The Court of Appeals of Indiana seeks an Administrator with strong administrative and supervisory skills to provide a full range of administrative services to the 15-member Court. The successful applicant will be a licensed Indiana attorney at the time of hire or by the end of 2017. The proposed starting date is Sept. 1, 2015. The starting salary is $120,000 with benefits similar to all Indiana state government employees. Applications are due no later than April 30, 2015.
The Indiana Supreme Court, Division of State Court Administration, is seeking applicants for a staff attorney position to administer the Indiana Court Improvement Program. Applicants must be members in good standing of the Indiana Bar for at least five years and have excellent communications skills. The salary will be $59,080.32 or $61,364.68, depending on experience. Applications are due no later than April 30, 2015.
The Hendricks County Superior Courts have an opening for a Court Reporter to the Magistrates. Court reporters maintain the courtroom record and produce transcripts of court proceedings. Pay is $20.00 to $22.00 an hour depending upon qualifications. Applications are due by May 8, 2015.
The Supreme Court of Indiana has opportunities for law clerks to work directly with the five Justices of the Court. Each clerk will perform a variety of tasks, including legal research and drafting memorandums. But more importantly, a law clerk for the Supreme Court will become involved in the rich history and traditions of the Court and participate in challenging discussions of contemporary law and events that make up the fabric of the legal system.
