Courts in the Classroom > Teacher Training Teacher Training

Helping educators teach about the operation and history of the judicial branch is an important component of Courts in the Classroom's mission.

The Indiana Supreme Court is collaborating with the Eugene and Marilyn Glick Indiana History Center, home of the Indiana Historical Society for a free teacher workshop on August 31, 2016.  Educators attending were nominated by judges or attorneys in their community to attend.  The workshop will last from 7:30 a.m. until 3:00 p.m. and will allow educators to:

  • attend a Supreme Court oral argument
  • participate in a research session in the law library
  • tour the State House
  • hear about different Court programs, and
  • tour the Eugene and Marilyn Glick Indiana History Center, home of the Indiana Historical Society

Educators will watch an oral argument in the case of KS&E Sports, et al. v. Dwayne H. Runnels.
