To honor Justice Richard Givan, the Indiana Supreme Court will hold a free Supreme Court Legal History Lecture Series event on Tuesday, October 27, 2009 from 3:00 - 4:30 pm in the Indiana Supreme Court Courtroom.

This is a free CLE event sponsored by the Indiana Supreme Court Legal History Lecture Series with support from the Indiana Commission for Continuing Legal Education. It has been assigned course number #125236 for 1.5 hours. Registration will be completed at the door.

About the Event

This lecture will honor Justice Richard M. Givan’s service to the Indiana Supreme Court from January 1, 1969 to December 31, 1994.

Chief Justice Randall T. Shepard will represent the current Indiana Supreme Court. Jeremy Withered, author of Hoosier Justice and former Givan law clerk, will be the featured speaker. Other speakers from the legal community have also been invited.
