Thirty-one appellate, trial, and federal court judges and Supreme Court attorneys will visit with nearly 2,000 students across the state in celebration of Constitution Day. Indiana courts are recognizing the anniversary of the signing of the U.S. Constitution (September 17, 1787) with a program that brings judges into schools.
Sixty teachers from across the state will attend a one-day workshop hosted by the Indiana Supreme Court in collaboration with the Indiana Historical Society. The educators were nominated earlier this year by judges and lawyers.
The August 31st workshop is designed to help educators learn about the courts, enhance their teaching tools, and improve their knowledge of Indiana history and government.
