The 2016 Family Court Project Grant Application is now available. The grants are designed to support the creation of innovative programs that improve the court process for families in Indiana. Priority has been given to applications that emphasize improving access to the courts for low-income and unrepresented families, promoting timely resolution of cases through the use of alternative dispute resolution and early case management, implementing programs that support families through court-related services, and engaging academic partners in researching and analyzing court practices and services.
Grants can be submitted by judicial officers from October 21, 2015, through close of business Friday, November 20, 2015. Applications must be submitted electronically and by mail, signed by the sponsoring judicial officer.
