Speaker of the House - Representative Brian Bosma

Speaker Bosma has been serving the northeastern corner of Indianapolis in the Indiana House of Representatives since 1986. He has been active in many roles throughout his years in the Indiana General Assembly and brings a great deal of leadership and insight into his position. He is an Attorney with Kroger, Gardis, & Regas in Indianapolis and is very involved in his neighborhood, with various community organizations, and most importantly, with the activities of his children and family.

 

Majority Floor Leader - Representative Jud McMillin

Representative McMillin represents House District 68, which includes all of Union County and portions of Dearborn and Franklin counties. Rep. McMillin is a graduate of Franklin County High School and has received both a B.S in Economics and a law degree. He currently practices law at his family law practice and develops small businesses in southeastern Indiana. He is very active and involved with numerous community events. This year in the Indiana General Assembly, he will serve on the following committees: Courts and Criminal Code (Chairman), Rules and Legislative Procedures (Vice Chairman), Roads and Transportation and Judiciary.

 

Majority Caucus Chair - Representative Kathy Kreag Richardson

 As the representative of the Noblesville/Fishers area, Representative Richardson has served the citizens of Hamilton County since 1992. She is currently the Election Administrator for Hamilton County and uses that expertise to the fullest extent as she sits on the Elections and Apportionment Committee. Representative Richardson is involved with many activities in Hamilton County, including the Noblesville Chamber of Commerce, Noblesville Noon Kiwanis, Hamilton County Historical Society, Noblesville Fireworks Festival, and the Noblesville River Walk Committee.

 

Speaker Pro Tempore - Representative Bill Friend

Representative Friend is from Macy, Indiana located in the north-central part of Indiana. He has faithfully served the citizens of House District 23 in the Indiana House of Representatives since 1992. Bill has been on the Ways and Means Committee and the Agricultural, Natural Resources, and Rural Development Committee. Upon graduation from the University of Indianapolis, he returned to Miami County and is now owner/operator of Friend Farms. He is active in many local organizations including the Farm Bureau, United Way, Red Cross Board, Miami County Pork Producers, Peru Chamber of Commerce, and the Scottish Rite. Bill, his wife Ann, along with their family attend the Mexico Baptist Church.

 

Deputy Speaker Pro Tempore - Representative Matt Lehman

State Representative Matt Lehman brings years of experience and expertise to the House of Representatives in the area of insurance. For this reason, Rep. Lehman serves the caucus as the Chairman for the Insurance Committee. In his private life, he is a part owner of a successful insurance business. He is married to Joye (Dubach) Lehman. They have three children, Kara, Kristen and Kelli. He and his family attend the Berne Evangelical Church.

 

Majority Whip - Representative Bob Heaton

State Representative Bob Heaton was born in 1956 in Brazil, Indiana, Rep. Heaton grew up on a classic rural Hoosier farm that has been in the Heaton family for over 120 years. There he grew up with his mother, father, two brothers and one sister. He has called the Wabash Valley home his entire life and has proudly served his community through several community organization boards: Terre Haute Convention and Visitors Bureau Board Member; Terre Haute Boys and Girls Club Board Member; Wabash Valley Youth for Christ Board Member and Leadership Terre Haute Class 5 Member. Rep. Heaton represents Indiana House District 46. He serves on three committees: Financial Institutions (Vice Chairman), Insurance and Natural Resources.
