State Documents Checklist

    The State Documents Section collects state documents for distribution to depository libraries throughout Indiana. The section is also responsible for compiling and making available the Checklist of Indiana State Documents, now available as series of online databases. Included in the collection are state agency reports, periodicals, and journals. For the records of various state agencies, contact the Indiana State Archives.

    To obtain your own copies of state documents, contact the agency which published them. The State Library cannot provide copies for patrons to keep, but it may be able to lend copies from its collection. Patrons with questions about the Checklist, the Documents Depository Act of 1973 (IC 4-23-7.1-25 et seq.) or about sending publications to the State Library should contact the State Documents Coordinator at 317-232-3669.
