Indiana
library professionals are invited to attend the 2nd Annual Vendor
Fair, hosted by the Indiana Department of Administration on
Wednesday, October 31, 2012 at the Indiana Government Center
in Indianapolis. This is an opportunity to engage with State
Procurement Professionals and more than 50 Statewide Contract Vendor
Representatives across many industries, prepared to discuss details
associated with their products and services. From office supplies
and computer hardware to janitorial services and purchasing cards,
this is a great opportunity to learn how to access the deep
discounts available across the broad portfolio of Statewide
Contracts. Additionally, a host of workshops will be provided on
topics which will span new cooperative purchasing strategies for
K-12, municipalities, counties and libraries to "green" product
solutions for maintenance and janitorial products.
IDOA will provide lunch, at no cost for those that register, during
the working lunch, "New Cooperative Purchasing Strategies" session
from 11:30-12:30. Additionally, free parking will be provided to the
first 40 registered attendees (registration must include the full
mailing and email address for attendee to be eligible for free
parking). In addition to the booth and presentation, representatives
will be available throughout the day to demo the OneIndiana,
K12Indiana, and LibraryIndiana portals and take your questions. To
