TERC Boasts New Look, Functionality & Resources Gale-Cengage Learning recently released its new version of Testing and Education Reference Center (TERC). This release includes a user interface change with new landing pages for each major section of the product (high school, college, career, grad school, international), new features, improved navigation, and the first phase of the Delmar career certifications. The addition of Delmar’s career certifications to the TERC platform provide users with convenient access to a variety of readiness tools needed for long-term career success. New certifications focus on many rapidly expanding fields, including among others:
Whether searching for undergraduate and graduate school programs, exploring tuition assistance providers, or transitioning to a better job, users will find the newly enhanced TERC — now with value-added content from Delmar — the most complete resource for moving forward and reaching goals. TERC is the most comprehensive online resource for helping millions of people — including students, parents and adults exploring new career options — make confident decisions that will shape their future. These new TERC products and services are available to all Indiana residents for free via INSPIRE. Writers' Center Offers Programming Ideas for Poetry Month As we are currently in the midst of School Library Month and on the heels on National Library Week, don't forget an equally great reason to celebrate this April. Since 1996, National Poetry Month is when publishers, booksellers, literary organizations, libraries, schools and poets around the country band together to celebrate poetry and its vital place in American culture. One simple way to join in the celebration is to participate in the Indiana Writers' Center's Poem in Your Pocket Day this April 14. Poems by Indiana poets are available for download at www.indianawriters.org. Print, copy, and distribute in your workplace, neighborhood, school, library or café. If your library participates in Poem in Your Pocket, please tell the Writers' Center about it an e-mail to barbarashoup@indianawriters.org and include photos, if you have them, as well as any interesting responses to the program that we might share on our website. For more information on Poem in Your Pocket and other programs offered by the Writers' Center of Indiana or to learn about special programming for libraries, contact Barbara Shoup at 317-255-0710. Workshop to Address Future of Library Cooperation

knowledge and experience with the library community.
Moving Library Cooperation to Web Scale takes an
in-depth look at how Web scale is revitalizing traditional
services through shared workflows, activities and data. |
