Historical Note:

Dearborn County was founded in 1803 and named for General Henry Dearborn, who served in the Revolutionary War and Was Secretary of War, 1801-1809.

Scope and Content Note:

This collection contains information about the history of Dearborn County.  It also contains information about some of the county’s prominent citizen’s including, Isaac Dunn and John Ewbank.   Also, included are histories of the towns of Lawrenceburg and Aurora.
