Biographical Note:

David Genung was born January 26, 1752; His wife was Nancy (Hand) Genung. He was a member of the Sons of the American Revolution. Genung died September 2, 1829.

Scope and Content:

The collection consists of a letter to “Mr. Stephen Ward Living in Collumbia Hamilton County State of Ohio.” The letter is from David and Nancy Genung. They wrote about the deaths of several people that they knew in common and express the wish that Mr. Ward would write more. The letter is handwritten.
