Anderson Municipal Electric Rates
The IURC approved Anderson Municipal Light & Power's (AML&P's) rates in March 2014. To review the case's public file, visit the IURC website and enter cause number 44308.
AML&P and other electric utilities can also adjust rates due to changes in wholesale power costs. Those costs can only be recovered on a dollar-for-dollar basis. They include OUCC review and IURC approval before taking effect.
As of July 2023, Anderson's average monthly residential electric bill ranked 6th lowest among the 12 electric utilities the IURC regulates.
