Midwest Natural Gas Rate Case
On November 20, 2007, the Indiana Utility Regulatory Commission (IURC) issued a final order in Cause No 43229, approving a settlement agreement between the Indiana Office of Utility Consumer Counselor (OUCC) and Midwest Natural Gas Corp. The agreement will provide Midwest Natural Gas - which serves 11 southern Indiana counties - with an additional $1.56 million in base rate revenues; the utility had originally requested a $2.04 million revenue increase.
The IURC's 12-page order and the 12-page agreement between the utility and the OUCC are available online. The documents are in PDF format, require Adobe Acrobat Reader in order to view, and will open in new windows.
An OUCC news release inviting consumer comments in this case was issued on June 15, 2007.
