On October 10, 2007, the Indiana Utility Regulatory Commission (IURC) issued final orders on the base rate increase requests by Ohio Valley Gas, Inc. (OVGI) and Ohio Valley Gas Corporation (OVGC), in Cause Nos. 43208 and 43209. In each case, the IURC approved a settlement agreement between the Indiana Office of Utility Consumer Counselor (OUCC) and Ohio Valley.

OVGC serves 11 counties in east-central and and southern Indiana, with OVGI serving 5 western Indiana counties.

A public field hearing in these cases was held on July 9 in Winchester.
