In Indiana Utility Regulatory Commission (IURC) Cause No. 43851, Liberty Green Renewables, LLC is requesting that the IURC decline jurisdiction over the construction, ownership and operation of a proposed electric generating facility in Scottsburg.
Liberty Green Renewables filed testimony and exhibits with the IURC on March 19, 2010.
On August 13, 2010, Liberty Green filed a motion to suspend the procedural schedule on an interim basis. The case's formal parties jointly filed a status report with the Commission on September 24, 2010 and anticipate filing another status report by October 24.
An IURC public field hearing was held on May 26, 2010 in Scottsburg. The Indiana Office of Utility Consumer Counselor (OUCC) issued a May 11 news release announcing the hearing and inviting consumer comments.
