Southern Monroe Water Corporation Rates

UPDATE (5-23-19): The IURC issued a dismissal order on May 22, 2019.

Southern Monroe Water Authority is seeking approval of new rates and charges in IURC Cause No. 45132-U. The case file is available on the IURC website.

Rates would increase by 9 percent under the utility's request. The OUCC has filed testimony (Corey and Seals) recommending an increase of 1.4 percent.

On October 9, 2018, the OUCC issued a news release to invite public comments.

Southern Monroe is seeking the increase through the state's Small Utility Filing Procedure.

The utility's current base rates were approved in May 2011.
