Indiana Michigan Power (I&M) is seeking approval to install new pollution control equipment at its Rockport Generating Facility in southwestern Indiana, along with approval to recover the construction costs through rates beginning at least 6 months after the start of construction. In testimony, I&M estimates the project's total costs at $284.7 million.

I&M filed its request in April 2013, including a petition (15 pages) and testimony (672 pages).

The OUCC is reviewing I&M's request and is scheduled to file testimony on July 2, 2013.

All publicly filed documents in the new case are available from the IURC Website by clicking here and entering docket number 44331.

In a previous case (IURC Cause No. 44033), I&M sought approval for a larger and more expensive emissions reduction plan.

I&M filed a motion to dismiss the case in February 2013, which the IURC granted in March.
