Prairie Utilities, Inc., which provides sewer utility service in Tipton County, is seeking IURC approval to transfer its assets to the City of Kokomo. The utility's petition (28 pages) and testimony (42 pages) are pending in Cause No. 44507.

The OUCC filed testimony on September 11, 2014 recommending approval of the proposed transfer.

An evidentiary hearing is scheduled for October 1, 2014 at the PNC Center (101 W. Washington St.) in Indianapolis.

Current rates for Prairie Utilities were approved in March 2013, in Cause No. 44158.
