Tipton Municipal Electric Rates

The IURC approved Tipton's municipal electric rates in 2004.

Electric utilities can also adjust rates due to changes in purchased power costs. Those costs can only be recovered on a dollar-for-dollar basis. They include OUCC review and IURC approval before taking effect.

As of July 2023, Tipton's electric rates rank lowest among the 12 electric utilities the IURC regulates.
