Cedar Lake Municipal Water
The Town of Cedar Lake and OUCC have reached a settlement agreement on the town's request for a water rate increase and financing authority. The agreement has received IURC approval.
The OUCC issued a July 2, 2020 news release to invite public comments.

All publicly filed documents are available in the IURC case file for Cause No. 45367. The agreement is pending before the IURC, which may approve, deny, or modify any settlement before it.
Cedar Lake's previous water rates were approved in 2009 in IURC Cause No. 43655.
Only the town's water rates were at issue in this case. Municipal sewer utilities are exempt from IURC oversight, with locally elected city and town councils approving their rates.
