Boone County Water Extension
Citizens Energy Group is seeking IURC approval to create a new subsidiary – Citizens Regional Water Resources – for the purpose of selling wholesale water to the City of Lebanon. The water will support businesses in the new Limitless Exploration/Advanced Pace (LEAP) District in Boone County.
UPDATE (10-5-23): On Oct. 5, 2023 Citizens Energy filed a motion to dismiss the case.
The utility filed its petition and the following testimony on May 26, 2023:
The OUCC filed testimony on June 30, 2023.
All publicly filed documents in this case (Cause No. 45896) are available on the IURC's website.
The OUCC is using its legal and technical resources to review the plan and is scheduled to file testimony on June 27, 2023.
Written public comments are invited through June 20, 2023.
