The State Board of Cosmetology and Barber Examiners is offering computer based testing for all of our license types, including barber, through Pearson VUE. Please follow the steps below to begin the process.

  • File an application for examination with the board.
  • Use the information contained in the eligibility letter that will be sent to you upon approval of your examination application to register for the written examination with Pearson VUE at http://www.asisvcs.com/indhome.asp?CPCAT=2015STATEREG or by calling toll free (888) 204-6190. You cannot register with Pearson VUE until you have an eligibility letter from the board.
