Find out what it may have been like to hear President Lincoln or Governor Morton memorialize Civil War casualties on Memorial Day, May 25, at 2 p.m., in Spring Mill State Park's Hamer Cemetery.

That presentation is just part of an event-filled Memorial Day weekend at the state park. Pioneer Village is hosting many activities. Visit a Civil War encampment showcasing what life was like for a soldier. Meet "President Lincoln" and "Governor Morton," and discuss what life was like in their time. Stop by the tavern to see what's cooking.

There is no fee for the event. Park entrance fees of $5 per vehicle for Indiana residents and $7 per vehicle for non-residents will apply.
