The Indiana State Department of Health reports 12 new confirmed cases of the novel H1N1 flu in the following counties: Hamilton (2), Lake (3), Marion (6), and Porter (1)
These 12 new cases bring the total number of confirmed cases of the novel H1N1 flu in Indiana to 132, with the following county breakdown:

- Elkhart (2)
- Hamilton (4)
- Hendricks (1)
- Lake (40)
- Madison (1)
- Marion (69)
- Monroe (1)
- Porter (5)
- Putnam (3)
- St. Joseph (2)
- Tippecanoe (3)
The breakdown of confirmed cases by age group (years), include:
- 0-4 (23)
- 5-24 (89)
- 25-64 (19)
- 65+ (1)
There has been one newly reported hospitalization associated with the novel H1N1 influenza A virus in Indiana (total of 6 since April 20, 2009). This person has been released from the hospital. There are currently no reported deaths associated with the novel H1N1 influenza A virus in Indiana.
The Indiana State Department of Health will report any new confirmed cases of H1N1 by 10:00 a.m. each day. Consumers can visit the www.IN.gov/flufor more information about the novel H1N1 outbreak.
