Notice of Public Hearing
Under IC 4-22-2-24, notice is hereby given that on Tuesday, June 30, 2009, at 10:00 a.m.(EDT), at the Indiana State Department of Health, 2 North Meridian Street, Indianapolis, Indiana the Indiana State Department of Health (ISDH) will hold a public hearing on proposed amendments to 410 IAC 3.2 (LSA Doc. 09-1) to add autism to the list of covered conditions in the rule, add a definition of autism, amend the definition of therapy and set a per year cap on the payment for applied behavioral analysis (ABA) for treatment of autism, and amend the reimbursement for travel for program participants.
The ISDH has the authority to adopt this rule under IC 16-19-3-5; IC 16-35-2-7; IC 16-35-2-10. This rule will not impose any additional requirements or costs under IC 4-22-2-24(d)(3).
Copies of these rules are now on file at the Office of Legal Affairs, Indiana State Department of Health, 2 North Meridian Street and Legislative Services Agency, One North Capitol, Suite 325, Indianapolis, Indiana, and are open for public inspection.
