In accordance with the Workforce Investment Act (WIA) Section 112(d), the Indiana Department of Workforce Development is posting for public review and comment a modified version of its statewide strategic plan.

This modification covers the fifth and final year of the state's five-year strategic plan.  The US Department of Labor is requiring all 50 states to modify their strategic plans to include brief descriptions of the state's plan to use money allocated through WIA and ARRA.

The public can review the 175-page WIA State Plan at http://www.in.gov/dwd/2540.htm.  Public comments will be accepted through Friday, June 26, 2009 at stateplan@dwd.IN.gov.
