HAMMOND, Ind. - The Indiana Department of Transportation (INDOT) announces Indianapolis Boulevard (State Road 152) at the intersection of 169th Street in Hammond will be restricted to one lane in each direction June 22-26. This will allow city of Hammond crews to perform watermain construction on 169th Street across Indianapolis Boulevard.
This work is in relation to the city of Hammond's road reconstruction project on 169th Street from Southeastern to Lindberg avenues.
The work schedule is subject to change in the event of inclement weather. INDOT reminds motorists to use caution and consider worker safety when driving through a construction zone. For the latest news and information about INDOT, please visit www.in.gov/indot.
