Meet Outdoor Indiana magazine staff members and get an early peak at the July-August issue at the Broad Ripple Farmers Market in Indianapolis this Saturday, June 27, from 8 a.m. to noon.

A highlight of the new issue is graphic designer Erin Hiatt's writing debut, in which she preps readers for the Indiana State Fair (Aug. 7-23), by describing her gustatory hike at last year's fair. She will be available to share that experience with interested fellow foodies at the market, which is held behind Broad Ripple High School, and to talk about how the magazine is assembled.

The new issue of the DNR's 48-page full-color magazine, which is celebrating its 75th anniversary, will be available for $3. Subscriptions will be on sale for $12 for a year (six issues) or $20 for two years. The magazine is also available at most Borders and Barnes and Noble stores in the state and at most DNR properties.
