The State Soil Conservation Board (SSCB)will meet on Tuesday, July 7, 2009, at 9 a.m. at Indiana State Library, History Reference Room #211. The State Library is located at 140 N. Senate Avenue, Indianapolis, IN. The SSCB provides guidance and coordination to the state's 92 Soil and Water Conservation Districts as they provide local leadership in the protection of Indiana's soil and water resources. Additionally, the SSCB administers the Clean Water Indiana Fund, a water quality-related erosion and sediment reduction program.

Following the meeting the SSCB will meet to continue the planning process of future Clean Water Indiana programs. The planning meeting will take place at 1 p.m. at the Indiana State Department of Agriculture (ISDA), Conference Room B. ISDA is located at 101 W. Ohio Street, Suite 1200, Indianapolis, IN.
