The Indiana State Department of Health reports a total of 267 confirmed cases of the novel H1N1 flu in the following counties:

• Allen (7)
• Boone (1)
• Daviess (1)
• Elkhart (3)
• Hamilton (8)  
• Hendricks (3)
• Johnson (2)
• Lake (109)
• Madison (1)
• Marion (106)
• Monroe (3)
• Porter (10)
• Putnam (3)
• St. Joseph (3)
• Tippecanoe (6)
• White (1)

There has been a total of 34hospitalizations associated with the novel H1N1 influenza A virus in Indiana since April 20, 2009. There are currently no reported deaths associated with the novel H1N1 influenza A virus in Indiana.

 

The Indiana State Department of Health will report any new confirmed cases of H1N1 once per week after Noon every Thursday.  The public can visit the www.IN.gov/flufor more information about the novel H1N1 outbreak.
