S.R. 18 Closure in Montpelier Due to Railroad Crossing Repair

S.R. 18 and Spring Street in Montpelier closed until August 7

BLACKFORD COUNTY, Ind. - The Indiana Department of Transportation (INDOT) announces that S.R. 18 and Spring Street in Montpelier will be closed due to railroad crossing repair on Monday, August 3, at 8:00 a.m. The road should be opened on August 7 at 4:00 p.m.
The detour route is S.R. 18 (Huntington Road) to Monroe Street to Jefferson Street, and back to S.R. 18. This adds approximately 0.9 mile for thru traffic. The work schedule is subject to change in the event of inclement weather.
