ADAMS COUNTY, Ind. -The Indiana Department of Transportation (INDOT) announces that U.S. 224 will be closed at 0.25 mile west of the Ohio State line due to highway maintenance work on Monday, August 10 at 8:30 a.m. The closure, between R.R. 600 East and C.R. 700 East, should be lifted on August 14 by 3:30 p.m.
The detour route is S.R. 101 south to U.S. 33 south to (Ohio State line) S.R. 49 north, which adds approximately 14 miles for thru traffic.
The work schedule is subject to change in the event of inclement weather.
