MERRILLVILLE, Ind. - The Indiana Department of Transportation (INDOT) announces State Road 53 (Broadway) between 93rd and 73rd avenues in Merrillville will be restricted to one lane in each direction Aug. 3 through mid-October. This will allow crews to perform resurface construction. Paving is anticipated to be done at night.
