HUNTINGTON COUNTY, Ind. - The Indiana Department of Transportation (INDOT) Fort Wayne District, announces that S.R. 124, between S.R. 5 and S.R. 9, will be closed due to a bridge deck replacement project over Brook Creek. The closure is expected to be lifted by late October, weather permitting.
The official detour route is S.R. 5, to I-69, to S.R. 218 to S.R. 9.
The project is funded by the American Recovery and Reinvestment Act (ARRA). The contract for this project and the C.R. 300 South Bridge over I-69 was awarded to Primco based on the company's low bid of $690,000.
