I-69 Restriction Due to County Road 300 South Bridge Deck Demolition

Demolition work scheduled to begin Wednesday, August 26

HUNTINGTON COUNTY, Ind. -   The Indiana Department of Transportation (INDOT) Fort Wayne District, announces that I-69 will be restricted to one lane at a time at C.R. 300 South, 3.4 miles north of S.R. 124, due to bridge deck demolition work. Although the restriction began on Monday, demolition work is scheduled for Wednesday, August 26 and will continue until mid-September. C.R. 300 South will remain closed until late October. There is no detour as county roads will be utilized.
The American Recovery and Reinvestment Act (ARRA) will fund this project and the S.R. 124 bridge deck construction project. The contract for both projects was awarded to Primco based on the company's low bid of $690,000.
