The tradition of gathering for a feast on the eve of the big hunt lives on at Raccoon State Recreation Area, Nov. 13

Once again, Raccoon SRA is hosting its annual Hunter Chili Supper at the property office. Come out and gather with fellow hunters to eat a bowl of chili, share some stories and play cards on the night before opening day of firearms deer season.

Cost is $3 per person for chili, hot chocolate and coffee. Soda pop is available in the machine. Park entrance fees of $5 per vehicle for Indiana residents and $7 per vehicle for non-residents will apply.
