TELL CITY, Ind. -- The Indiana Department of Transportation (INDOT) is advising motorists to be aware of temporary lane restrictions on Interstate 64 (I-64). Maintenance crews will be patching the interstate on Thursday, November 5 and Friday, November 6, weather permitting.
Maintenance crews will be working in the west bound lanes from Exit 86, State Route 66 (Sulphur) to Exit 92, State Road 66 (Carefree). One lane will be closed to allow workers to perform their work duties while one lane will be maintained for traffic. INDOT crews anticipate work to be complete by the end of day on Friday. Inclement weather will push the operation back daily.
INDOT reminds motorists to follow the posted work zone speed limit, use caution and consider worker safety when traveling through a work zone. For the latest news and information about INDOT, please visit www.in.gov/indot.
