I-69 Northbound Driving Lane Restriction over Wabash River Scheduled for Tomorrow, Thursday, Nov. 5, over Wabash River

Restriction at mile marker 86 and 85 scheduled until Nov. 10

 HUNTINGTON COUNTY, Ind. - The Indiana Department of Transportation (INDOT) Fort Wayne
District  announces a 16-foot lane restriction (includes one lane and shoulder) for the northbound I-69 driving lane, at 0.83 mile south of U.S. 224 interchange, is scheduled for tomorrow, Thursday, Nov. 5. The restriction is due to bridge deck maintenance work between mile marker 86 and 85.  This restriction should be lifted by Nov. 10, weather permitting. During the weekend, the driving lane will remain closed.
 The temporary bridge deck patch work should be complete by mid-November. Next year the entire bridge deck will be replaced. 
The project is funded by the American Recovery and Reinvestment Act (ARRA). R.L. McCoy was awarded the low bid of $1.5 million.
