S.R. 25 closed during railroad crossing resurface construction

Closure scheduled for Monday through Wednesday

DELPHI, Ind. - The Indiana Department of Transportation (INDOT) announces State Road 25 (S.R. 25) at the Norfolk Southern Railroad tracks in Delphi will be closed Nov. 9-11. This will allow Norfolk Southern crews to perform railroad crossing resurface construction.

Residents and businesses will have access to their properties on either side of the closure, but through traffic will be detoured via posted signs. Northbound S.R. 25 traffic will be directed to take U.S. 421/State Road 39 (S.R. 39) north to U.S. 24 east and back to S.R. 25. Southbound traffic will be directed to take U.S. 24 west to U.S. 421/S.R. 39 south and back to S.R. 25.

The work schedule is subject to change in the event of inclement weather. INDOT reminds motorists to use caution and consider worker safety when driving through a construction zone. For the latest news and information about INDOT, please visit www.in.gov/indot.
