U.S. 20 Bridge Restriction over I-69 Down to One Lane Set for Tomorrow, Thursday, Nov. 12

Traffic expected to stack up during asphalt operation between 8 a.m. until 4 p.m.

STEUBEN COUNTY, Ind. - The Indiana Department of Transportation (INDOT) Fort Wayne District announces that traffic on U.S. 20 Bridge over I-69 will be down to one lane due to an asphalt operation tomorrow, Thursday, Nov. 12, from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m.  Flaggers will direct traffic one lane at a time, which will cause delays. This is a one-day restriction.
Motorists are encouraged, if possible, to find another route as traffic is expected to move slowly due to the asphalt operation.
Throughout the project's construction, there will be variable restrictions Monday through Thursday, between 6:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. daily.
Funded by the American Recovery and Reinvestment Act (ARRA).  Primco Construction was awarded the contract based on the company's low bid of $5.2 million.  The project's completion date is fall 2010.
